The Sales Representative position at Auto Pedigree, part of Motus Corporation in Vryheid, focuses on achieving sales targets and promoting the Auto Pedigree brand. The role requires a motivated and dynamic individual with strong sales skills, confidence to engage potential clients, and the ability to close deals. Responsibilities include managing sales activities, building customer relationships, assisting with showroom setup, and ensuring excellent service delivery. The representative will also accompany customers on test drives, negotiate agreements, and identify new revenue streams, contributing to the growth and success of the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Daily, weekly and monthly management of sales
• Developing the business to reach set sales targets for the month
• Driving strategies to retain and grow the existing customer base
• Assisting with the setup of the showroom and displays
• Accompanying customers on test drives and managing documentation
• Managing customer expectations to ensure effective service delivery
• Identifying and venturing into new revenue streams
• Negotiating terms of agreements and closing sales
• Ensuring customer escalation is managed and feedback is provided
• Familiarising yourself with vehicle characteristics, capabilities, and features

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Two years of customer service and sales experience with a proven sales track record
• Relevant industry experience – desirable
• A code 08 unendorsed driver’s license and own transport
• Computer literate
• Some understanding of compliance governing the retail industry – an advantage
• Knowledge of the area’s most spoken languages – an advantage
• An understanding of Auto Pedigree’s products and services – desirable
